Under close supervision, performs a variety of electro‑mechanical subassembly and assembly operations of a semi‑skilled nature to build up and assemble simple units such as power connectors, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, electronic systems, and subassemblies.

• Follows production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions with general supervision.
• Reads worksheets and wiring diagrams, selects components.
• Gathers components and mounts them, requiring manual dexterity and proficiency with hand tools, soldering equipment, volt metering, and other related test instrumentation.
• Performs cleaning, lead preparation, component mounting, and parts orientation.
• Connects component leads to printed circuits, or routes and connects wires between component leads, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
• Positions and aligns parts in jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices.
• Joins or secures parts using crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or similar operations.
• Uses hand and small power tools to place small components on boards, cables, connectors, etc.
• Inspects parts and performs basic tests.
• May perform additional assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color‑coding parts and assemblies.
• Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
• May perform hand soldering using a soldering iron or under a microscope.
• Performs online go‑not‑go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
• Troubleshoots and replaces defects of finished products.
• Reworks and repairs defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
• Follows safety procedures in the use and handling of flammable and hazardous chemicals to meet cleanliness specifications.
• Follows all procedures and detailed instructions completely.
• Ensures that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.
• Records information on production records, logs, and other report forms.

• High school diploma or GED and some vocational or technical training.
• 0‑2 years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Effective communication skills in written and verbal English.
• Availability for overtime Monday through Saturday as required.
• Availability to train on the 1st shift before transitioning into the 2nd shift schedule.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be a “US Person” (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees, or refugees) due to access restrictions.

Salary: $19.00‑$20.00 DOE

Shift: 5am – 1:30pm
