Overview
As a Quality Inspector, you will be working with a team of dedicated, creative, and technical forces behind the design and development of new power conversion systems. Your responsibilities to consistently and proactively review specialized processes to identify gaps between requirements and outputs within the team, throughout the organization and external suppliers will help us make the best products for our customers.
You will help us develop and create quality procedures based on industry standards to help us exceed our customers’ expectations.
- Responsible for performing quality checks on components and assemblies.
- Assists and prepares audit reports and performs follow-up to obtain resolutions that are compliant with regulations and satisfactory to all parties.
- Comply with written instructions to perform inspections, detect non-conforming materials and in-house quality issues, and notifies team of any deviations.
- Prepares impact assessments for process and procedural deviations.
- Generates Quality Alerts.
- Assists in performing audits of vendors, contractors, collaborators, and other relevant organizations as needed.
- Performs equipment calibrations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Understands company ethics and proprietary information requirements.
- Reviews specifications and inspects incoming materials to assure conformance.
- Maintain departmental files, documents and databases and generate reports for management and others, as needed.
- Performs other related tasks as required and complete special projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma with two to four years related experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, computer and equipment validation, and product/process validation.
- Knowledge of electronics, manufacturing and/or electrical equipment, a plus.
- Ability to develop clear, concise, timely oral and written reports.
- Excellent organization, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, flexible, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Applications.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
