SummaryHighly creative, results-driven, and client-focused direct mail creative and production Sales Representative. Responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new clients, while nurturing and growing relationships with existing clients. This role demands a deep understanding of direct mail creative, data and production services, excellent communication skills, and a passion for exceeding sales targets.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Client Acquisition:
Identify potential clients and industries that can benefit from our high-value direct mail creative, data and production services. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new clients. - Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty. - Consultative Sales:
Collaborate with clients to understand their unique creative, data and production needs. Provide tailored solutions that maximize the impact of their direct mail campaigns. - Creative Expertise:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of direct response creative designed direct mail formats to effectively advise and consult with clients on their direct mail projects. - Sales Targets:
Meet or exceed quarterly, and annual sales targets and revenue goals. - Market Knowledge:
Continuously research, analyze and stay abreast of the direct mail, marketing industry, and key client vertical markets to identify emerging opportunities and trends that can be leveraged for business growth. - Proposal and Contract Preparation:
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients. Negotiate terms and close deals. - Sales Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress. Generate sales reports for management. - Collaboration:
Work closely with our creative and production teams to ensure client expectations are met, and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.
A.) from four-year College or university or equivalent work experience. - Proven track record in direct mail creative and production sales, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of direct response creative design and direct mail production processes.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a natural problem solver.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in CRM software and other sales-related tools.
