This posting describes an existing position and responsibilities for a Territory Sales Manager within our North America operations.
About the JobThe Territory Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing territory share through high-volume outbound prospecting and inbound inquiry conversion to achieve activations.
Responsibilities- Sales Growth:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for Containers, Ground Level Offices, Single wide Modular Structures, Complex Modular Structures (in certain markets), and value-added products. - Allocate time effectively: approximately 40% outbound prospecting, 30% inbound inquiry conversion, and the remainder on account development and in-person prospecting or customer visits.
- Identify and prioritize potential customers, industries, and market segments for business development.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and move leads toward successful sales.
- Pursue a high volume of top project and transactional opportunities while offering turnkey space solutions and value-added products.
- Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships through regular communication, site visits, and exceptional service. - Understand customer needs, provide product recommendations, and address inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with customers to create tailored solutions meeting container and modular structure requirements.
- Utilize CRM system to track performance and manage customers effectively.
- Market Analysis:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities within the territory. - Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Provide feedback to management on market insights and customer feedback.
- Quoting and Pricing:
Use a consultative selling approach to maximize pricing and monthly lease rates; prepare accurate and competitive price quotes; negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements; and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery. - Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM software; generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity; meet daily/weekly expectations on leading indicators to achieve objectives. - Team
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, logistics, and customer support) to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution; provide guidance and support to colleagues as needed. - Additional duties and functions as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or applicable experience; college degree preferred.
- 1 year of outbound prospecting experience OR 1 year experience at WSMM.
- Willingness and ability to travel 10–20% to conduct field visits with important customers (little to no overnight travel).
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in high-volume, transactional sales cycles and leasing.
- Consultative, solution-selling mindset.
- Experience with strategic account management and development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional presentation abilities at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, etc., in an office environment; ability to be on phones for the majority of the business day.
Work Environment:
- In-office role; not hybrid.

Base Wage Range: $70,304.00 - $76,900.00
Individual rates are based on factors such as degrees or certifications, skill level, and years of experience, and include considerations for overtime and variable compensation such as bonus or commission.
