Automotive Sales Manager

The Pedder Automotive Group was founded in 2008 by Owner David Pedder. The family owned and operated dealer group has 7 dealerships in Southern California, representing Nissan, Hyundai, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram brands. The eight (8) locations are – Pedder Nissan, Raceway Nissan, Temecula Nissan, Hemet CDJR, Lake Elsinore CDJR, Pedder Hyundai of Poway, Pedder CDR+J of Poway, and Pedder Hyundai of Moreno Valley.

The Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that the dealership meets its unit sales quotas and its gross objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis while supporting the activities of all sales staff and maintaining high customer service levels.

• Work directly with customers to develop enriching relationships that improve client happiness and fuel the sales process.
• Establish trust among customers to establish a strong network of clientele and prospects.
• Provide training and support to sales staff and assist in closing deals.
• Facilitate regular sales training for continued team growth.
• Demonstrate leadership by setting a clear vision and goals for the sales targeted performance.
• Engage and motivate the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and standard methodology processes.
• Drive business through a high-level of involvement in day-to-day operations.
• Lead the negotiation process, ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong computer skills as specifically pertain to the automotive digital programs
• Proven track record of successful selling, coaching, and mentoring.
• Team Oriented and able to build a feeling of teamwork on the sales floor
• Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record
• Current California Sales License.
