Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Tue 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Do- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or patients entering the location by following access protocols, checking credentials when required, and directing individuals to the appropriate entry points or departments.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations by monitoring entrances, observing activity in assigned areas, and reporting suspicious behavior or unusual conditions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, which may include lobbies, screening areas, parking areas, and other common spaces as assigned.
- Must be comfortable working in a hospital morgue environment.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
