As a Security Officer - Overnight Hospital Intake Screening in Poway, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare locations. You will greet visitors, monitor access points, perform screening procedures, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. You will use technology to document activity and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.   Day Time Wed 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM;
  Thu 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Screen visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors at designated entry points while verifying access requirements and directing individuals to the appropriate area.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and/or other assigned areas to help support an orderly environment and deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate with staff, guests, and/or emergency personnel regarding screening expectations, access concerns, and other security-related matters.

• This position is located in a hospital morgue environment.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
