Field Service Technician

Location:

Calexico, CA, 92231

We are seeking knowledgeable, customer-focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join the Crown team.

Job Duties:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
  • Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
  • Maintain a service van and its inventory.
  • Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Less than 2 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good mechanical and electrical aptitude with knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
  • Technical degree or prior lift truck repair experience.
  • Experience with welding and various testing equipment.
  • Industry related training, familiarity with service manuals, and ability to plan and follow-through.

Work Authorization: Crown will only employ individuals who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship for work visas will not be provided.
