Technician, Refrigeration​/HVAC

Saturday – Tuesday, 1:30 PM PST – 12:00 AM PST

We are seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join a dynamic team at a local Walmart retail store. The role involves repairing and maintaining Walmart’s refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Completion of a 2‑year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program
• Mechanical license in the city and/or state where the job is located

• Maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart’s refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights.

Individual compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, experience, level of job offer, and qualifications. Eligible for bonus incentive.

The hourly wage range is $28.00 – $54.00. Premiums may be paid based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
