The supervisor will manage all phases of assigned engineering projects from inception through completion while leading a team of moderately experienced professional staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Lead and manage engineering teams in simulation-based algorithm development, data science, and visualization projects, ensuring technical, quality, business, and financial objectives are met.

* Oversee data science and visualization for advanced aircraft projects using data sets generated by STK, AFSIM, and Command Professional Edition to reveal mission effectiveness and system performance insights.

* Resolve complex engineering problems, act as a consulting technical resource, and apply advanced data visualization techniques.

* Develop novel data-driven methods to clearly convey advanced designs and CONOPS.

* Prepare and present technical reports and findings at engineering meetings, program reviews, and customer forums.

* Maintain frequent communication with internal stakeholders and external customers, documenting and presenting technical results.

* Implement data visualization strategies for the Strategic Development business unit and contribute to business development, capture, and proposal efforts.

* Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to less experienced and early-career engineers, mentoring them for advancement into Operations Analysis and Simulation & Visualization roles.

* Support hiring, attraction, selection, retention, and development of professional and technical talent.

* Perform annual performance assessments.
