On-Site Gas Svcs Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist with cylinder ordering including plant communication and coordination as well as on‑site management of existing local inventories and remote facility locations.
• Products include industrial, specialty, lab standard and possibly medical‑grade gases.
• Apply relevant standards such as CGA, NFPA, DOT and others.
• Support cylinder disbursement while following NFPA 99 chapter 9 handling procedures.
• Perform heavy physical labor handling cylinders ranging from 10 lbs to 750 lbs.
• Retrieve cylinders in accordance with NFPA 99 chapter 9 handling requirements.
• Perform cylinder billing including plant communication, Accustar Handheld, Cylinder Tracking, and JD Edwards interactions.
• Interact with customers such as facilities support staff, clinical staff, and occasionally facility administrators.
• Assist with JD Edwards order entry, cylinder tracking, and order selection capabilities.
• Manage inventory for in‑use and depleted cylinders; maintain proper inventory on patient floors to meet environment‑of‑care standards.
• Identify sales opportunities and communicate internally.

• High school diploma or GED; additional education or trade skills preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with customers and internal plant teams.
• Computer literacy required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance to enter refineries and chemical plants.
• Knowledge of cylinder hoses is a significant plus.
• Ability and willingness to safely move heavy loads on a routine basis (including wheeled carts which may weigh up to 1 200 lbs).
• Ability and willingness to lift and move up to 40 lbs safely.

$24.88 - $36.49 per hour.
