Our clients are individuals and families who have chosen private-pay home care because they refuse to compromise on quality. They're looking for more than task completion—they want a caregiver who brings serenity, kindness, intelligence, discretion, and genuine care to their home. Many are accomplished professionals, business owners, or community leaders who've spent their lives setting high standards. Now, in their later years, those standards haven't changed.

Founded by a family of medical professionals who are leaders in healthcare, Serene Living operates differently than typical agencies. While we provide non-medical care, our approach is informed by clinical expertise and a deep understanding of the complexities of aging.

• Provide thoughtful assistance with activities of daily living while preserving dignity and independence
• Prepare nutritious meals that respect dietary requirements and personal preferences

• Observe and communicate changes in condition or behavior with clinical awareness

This is not assembly-line caregiving. You'll typically work with one or two clients consistently, building trusted relationships over time.

We can teach skills. We cannot teach character.

• Exceptional judgment – You know when to act, when to observe, and when to seek guidance
• Natural discretion – You understand confidentiality isn't just a policy, it's a principle
• Cultural competence – You adapt seamlessly to different communication styles and household norms
• Professional presence – You dress appropriately, speak thoughtfully, and conduct yourself with dignity
• Intellectual curiosity – You ask good questions and genuinely want to understand your clients' needs
• Emotional intelligence – You read the room, sense what's unspoken, and respond with sensitivity

• Spotless background check
• Valid Georgia driver's license
• Smartphone proficiency for scheduling and communication
• Physical capability for mobility assistance and transfers
• Availability for consistent weekly schedule
• References who will speak to your character and reliability

• Previous experience in private homes, upscale hospitality, or healthcare settings
• PCA, CNA, HHA, or comparable certification
• Comfort working independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with dementia, Parkinson's, or other age-related conditions

• Premium Compensation – $14-18/hour based on credentials and experience, among the highest in the region for non-medical care
• Consistent, Predictable Schedule – Set weekly hours with the same clients. No last-minute schedule changes.
• Small Client Load – You'll work with one or two families, allowing you to provide truly personalized care
• No Corporate Dysfunction – Quick decisions, clear communication, human conversations

Most agencies hire in volume and hope for quality. We do the opposite. We hire selectively and invest deeply in each caregiver.

Our medical leadership background means we create care plans with clinical precision. Our caregivers don't just follow instructions—they understand the reasoning behind each recommendation.

This level of training and support is uncommon in non-medical home care. We maintain it by keeping our team small and choosing carefully.
