Accounting Intern (Part-Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to provide hands-on support within our Accounting & Finance team. This part-time role is ideal for a first- or second-year accounting or finance student who is eager to gain real-world experience in accounts payable and general accounting processes. The position will be based at our Powell o9ice and is expected to average 10 hours per week (approximately 2 hours per day, Monday–Friday).

• Open, organize, and scan incoming vendor invoices.
• Accurately code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Assist with routing invoices for approval and entry into the accounting system.
• Support document management and filing processes.
• Perform basic data entry and transaction verification.
• Provide administrative and accounting support as assigned (e.g., reconciliations, vendor setup).

• Current enrollment in an accredited Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration program.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; experience with accounting systems is a plus.
• Dependable, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
• Available to work on-site in Powell approximately 2 hours per day (M–F).

This internship o9ers exposure to real-world accounting operations within a dynamic growth company. You’ll work closely with our CFO and finance team to learn best practices in accounts payable, vendor management, and financial systems—building a foundation for a future career in accounting or finance.
