Mid Level Automotive Technician - Powell, OH

As a Mid-Level Automotive Technician at Goodyear, you will gain hands‑on experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues while delivering outstanding customer service.

• Perform line technician services including routine inspections and maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem‑solving.
• Conduct brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
• Document all work performed on repair orders and report safety issues to management.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Guide and mentor junior automotive technicians.
• Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform manual tasks such as light to heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• A valid driver's license and at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• ASE Certification.
• Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
• Previous electrical, air conditioning, and fuel ignition experience.
