Relationship Manager I - Business Banker
Responsible for managing and expanding relationships with business clients in the Columbus market, providing cash flow solutions and fostering relationships within targeted small business segments.
Responsibilities- Coordinates relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to grow sales, revenue and market share.
- Acquires and expands client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet, handling origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of credit and non‑credit products.
- Manages risk/return and drives quality for new and/or existing clients, actively identifying and mitigating regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks.
- Provides ideas and insights based on client needs, focusing on increasing engagement and loyalty.
- Manages a network of internal and external relationships to acquire new clients and expand existing ones, presenting the full range of PNC products and services.
- Demonstrates ability to analyze, evaluate and mitigate credit risk for more complex credit requests using advanced credit fundamentals and internal policies.
- University or college degree with 5+ years of industry‑relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education, certification and experience.
- Book of business, client relationship building, credit, credit products, customer engagement, decision making, financial analysis, identifying sales opportunities.
- Business acumen, client relationship management, customer experience management, decision making and critical thinking, effective communications, prospecting, selling, tech savvy.
Bachelor’s degree.
