Job DescriptionOlentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for a Food Service Worker, 3hr position available at Olentangy Liberty Middle School for the 2026-27 school year. This position will provide a nutritious, safe, and healthy lunch to students; prepare and serve food items; run cash register; clean up cafeteria. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, successful background checks, and hold or be eligible to hold a valid aide permit (where appropriate) for each position with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
Employment status:
Classified, 184-day employment contract, 3 hours per day
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior school food service experience preferred
- Alternative to the above qualifications as Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate
Internal candidates (currently employed by Olentangy Schools) must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking (School Spring).
NOTE:
If you are an ESC employee, intern, off-staff advisor/coach, short- or long-term substitute, or student teacher you must apply as an external candidate.
External candidates must submit an external online application in Applicant Tracking (School Spring) and complete an online Support Candidate Assessment. In addition, a letter of interest and current resume must be uploaded within the Attachments section of the application. Keep in mind that the Support Candidate Assessment is a timed assessment, so please set aside approximately 45 minutes of uninterrupted time before you begin the process.
