Position: School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) | Powell, Ohio
Step into a meaningful role as an essential member of a student's support team for the remainder of the school year. This full-time contract assignment provides an opportunity for an experienced LPN/LVN to make a significant impact by working 1:1 with a Kindergarten student. Help create a safe, nurturing, and productive learning environment every school day from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the assignment running ASAP through May 28th.

Key Qualifications and

Experience:

• Current, active LPN or LVN license (required)
• Experience working with pediatric or school-age children preferred
• Familiarity with school nursing protocols and 1:1 care scenarios
• Ability to respond swiftly and appropriately to health needs, emergencies, and care plans
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school personnel
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the unique needs of young students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support to a female Kindergarten student during school hours
• Monitor health status, administer medications, and implement physicians' orders as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and daily health records
• Communicate proactively with educational staff and family members to ensure continuity of care
• Foster a safe, comfortable environment for the student, enabling her participation in classroom activities
• Uphold the standards of professional nursing practice in an educational setting
