Responsibilities
Responsible for the treatment of patients with sensory or motor deficits that affect mobility or functional performance of gross motor activities. Performs the initial evaluation of the patient and provides follow-up treatment and feedback to the staff therapist to effectively plan for discharge. Serves as a member of the Rehabilitation Department and is an integral component of the interdisciplinary medical team that strives to return the patient to his/her highest level of functional independence.
Treats all patients on assigned rotations, in addition to providing cross coverage of the department's other rotations and the Rehabilitation Division's other locations/sites as needed. This position works under the direct supervision of the team leader.
2‑Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications- Completion of approved education curriculum as a physical therapy assistant.
- State of Ohio licensure.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
