Role Description The Licensed Massage Therapist is a part-time, on-site role based at Wedgewood Golf & Country Club in Powell, OH. This role focuses on providing professional bodywork and therapeutic massage services to members and guests, supporting relaxation, stress reduction, and overall wellness. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, recommending appropriate massage techniques, maintaining accurate treatment records, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment.

The therapist will collaborate with club staff to schedule appointments, support member events when needed, and uphold the club’s standards of service and professionalism. Consistent, courteous interaction with members and guests is essential to reinforce Wedgewood’s reputation for exceptional, personalized care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in therapeutic massage modalities, including Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage, with a commitment to safe, effective practice.
• Experience or training in specialized techniques such as Shiatsu to support varied wellness needs.
• Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and build trust with a diverse membership.
• Knowledge of Stress Management principles and the ability to tailor sessions to promote relaxation and overall well-being.
• Current state licensure as a Massage Therapist in Ohio and compliance with all relevant regulations and professional standards.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality, accurate documentation, and high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends, based on member demand.
• Previous experience in a hospitality, spa, or club setting is helpful but not required; a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork are essential.
