Job Overview

Store 2743527: 9590 Sawmill Parkway, Powell, Ohio 43065. Shift Availability:
Days and Evenings. Time Type:
Part time.

• Customer Satisfaction:
  Provides prompt, excellent customer service; greets customers, offers assistance and recommendations; rings up sales on cash registers, handling various payment types; operates fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions; reports to work on time and follows dress code.
• Facility Condition:
  Maintains store cleanliness and equipment; cleans inside and out; inspects facilities and equipment for safety and proper order; notifies the Store Manager of any equipment failure or maintenance needs.
• Merchandising:
  Completes build‑to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise; receives and verifies vendor deliveries; maintains adequate stock and rotates inventory; places advertising and pricing signage inside or outside the facility.
• Sales, Financial and Security Controls:
  Controls merchandise and cash shortages; assists with inventory levels and shift audits; keeps accurate cash, sales and inventory records; reports discrepancies; follows product breakage or spoilage guidelines; reports incidents including injuries, theft, property damage or improper sanitation.
• Administrative:
  Keeps an accurate record of all shift and timekeeping paperwork; takes inventory of supplies and equipment; attends job‑related meetings; provides regular and predictable onsite attendance; performs other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to accurately operate a variety of equipment including cash registers, scanners, beverage dispensers and other machinery.
• Ability to work as scheduled, including arriving to work on time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly so others will understand.
• Basic arithmetic skills preferred.
• Ability to perform the essential duties and physical functions described below.
• Ability to work in the conditions described below.

• Exposure to cold or warm temperature extremes while working in a walk‑in cooler, freezer and outdoors.
• Lifting up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead; lifting up to 50 pounds from ground to waist.
• Ability to grasp, reach, manipulate objects with hands for an entire shift; push or pull with arms up to 20 pounds.
• Reach overhead, bend, twist at the waist, communicate orally, operate a cash register and/or computer keyboard.
• Stoop, kneel, squat, bend, push and pull; work alone; exposed to occasional noise.
• Stand and/or walk for an entire shift; may require climbing a ladder to store or retrieve materials or to place and remove signs.

• Approximately 95% of work is performed indoors, but may include cleaning parking lots, gas pumps and taking out garbage.
• Exposure to extreme cold temperatures during occasional work in a walk‑in cooler or freezer.
• Exposure to occasional noise.
• Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.

Hiring Range: $14.00 to $14.50.
