Description

Assists customers with their lending needs; originates and analyzes loan requests and makes credit-based decisions based on policy. Develop relationships with customers and manage the loan process from start to finish.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identifies and develops relationships with potential new customers. Maintains and develops ongoing relationships with current customer base. Markets the Bank's lending programs to companies and individuals within the community and cross sells bank services. Participates in events that promote the Bank and support the community.
  • Reviews and evaluates information on loan documents to determine if loan conditions meet bank and regulatory standards. Approves or rejects loan applications or requests additional information. Establishes terms and conditions of an approved loan and reviews with customers.
  • Works closely with the loan servicing team to efficiently close all loans in a timely manner with proper documentation. Works to ensure all disclosures and all documents are reviewed prior to closing.
  • Registers with the NMLS and maintains registration per SAFE Act requirements.
  • Calls or visits customers who are delinquent on their loan payment to bring loan current.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements Knowledge, skill, ability and requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • Four-year college degree is preferred.
  • Time management skills.
  • Customer service.
  • Professionalism.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently.

    Ability to analyze financial information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Agriculture preferred
