Pay: $16–$20 per hour, depending on qualifications
Willwood Irrigation District is accepting applications for an entry-level Ditchrider position in Powell.
The district is seeking motivated individuals with strong people skills and a solid work ethic. Responsibilities include distributing irrigation water during the six-month irrigation season and performing labor-intensive work in all weather conditions. Winter duties include maintaining and repairing the irrigation system, reconstructing concrete structures and completing other maintenance projects.
Eligible employees receive generous paid time off and Wyoming State Retirement benefits. The district is a drug-free workplace.
Qualifications- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong work ethic and good communication skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions
- Ability to distribute irrigation water during the irrigation season
