Responsibilities- Intake and Eligibility:
Process program referrals, assess eligibility, and enroll participants efficiently. - Personalized Support:
Conduct in-depth assessments to understand each participant's skills, experience, and goals; collaborate to create a customized employability plan, monitor progress, and adjust as needed. - Essential Skills Development:
Provide comprehensive case management services, including job search assistance, resume writing, interview preparation, life skills development (e.g., money management), and more. - Community Connections:
Connect participants with relevant community resources to address needs and support overall well-being. - Advocacy and Compliance:
Advocate for participants, ensuring they understand rights and responsibilities under program guidelines; stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations.
- Holistic Needs Assessment:
Evaluate participant needs beyond employment and refer to appropriate community resources for life skills development, money management, interpersonal safety, and more. - Progress Tracking and Adjustment:
Monitor progress toward employability plan goals; identify areas for improvement and adjust plans as necessary. - Collaboration for Success:
Work with community partners, job developers, and others to secure unsubsidized, subsidized, or community service placements that align with participants' needs and program objectives. - Performance Excellence:
Strive to meet or exceed program performance expectations. - Meticulous Recordkeeping:
Maintain comprehensive case files with accurate documentation and verification of services provided. - Note: "Collaboratively Adjust Plans As Necessary" is encouraged to emphasize teamwork and adaptability.

The majority of work is in an office setting and in the community; mobility within rural and urban areas is required daily. Must be able to drive and have access to a reliable vehicle. Ability to sit at a desk or in meetings for extended periods; present information and respond to questions from staff, board members, and the public. Regular use of hearing and vision;
ability to collaborate in varied environments; fine motor skills for writing or typing; lifting up to 30 pounds; bending and walking regularly; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; interpret complex instructions and adapt to multiple variables.
Environmental Conditions:
Majority of work is in an office setting, community, and varied conditions; outdoor travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is ideal; an associate degree with 2-3 years of related experience will be considered.
Experience:
Working with disadvantaged populations, determining eligibility, and providing case management.
Skills:
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; conflict resolution and problem-solving; financial literacy to explain budgeting concepts; ability to work independently and as a team player. Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer reporting systems as required by funders.
