Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift

Location:

7501 Mission Rd, Prairie Village, KS 66208

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

• Assesses patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records and clinical data.
• Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.
• Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, and evaluates the effectiveness of teaching.
• Encourages patient engagement in healthcare through motivational interviewing, self‑management protocols, and teach‑back methodology.
• Delivers relationship‑based care, engaging patients in all aspects of care with respect for cultural differences and diversity.
• Delegates tasks to non‑RN personnel in accordance with State Board of Nursing and hospital policy.
• Coordinates and implements group visits for identified high‑risk patient populations.
• Aids in the care transition of high‑risk patients, including medication reconciliation and coordination of services.
• Contributes to continuous process improvement by actively participating in patient experience and satisfaction initiatives.

• Registered Nurse (RN) – required
• Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS) – required
