Overview

We have an opening for our Men's High School Head Basketball Coach. We have an excellent program and our current head coach is being promoted to an administrative position. The position is currently attached to a HS Career Counseling Coordinator and teaching position. But, we also have openings for 7th Grade English teacher, Biology teacher, and Spanish teacher. Specific classes to be taught are to be determined depending on applicant strengths.

Home to almost 7,000 citizens, Pratt is 75 miles west of Wichita and 55 miles southwest of Hutchinson. The district was fully accredited in the previous cycle and continues as a fully accredited school per the KESA system.

• We pay 95% of a single health insurance plan (Blue Cross) and approximately 80% on a family plan.

• Base salary is $45,900 plus up to $15,000 for Health Insurance.
• With 5-10 years of experience we rank in the top 20% of the state in compensation.

USD 382 offers competitive salaries, 95% payment of a single BC/BS health plan and approximately 80% for a family health plan, professional development points for movement on the salary schedule, supplemental salary payment is based on an employee`s salary level, not the base, personal and professional leave with a sick leave bank options, and a mentoring program for teachers new to the profession.
