Activities Director

The Activity Director is responsible for leading the community's activity program which includes the development of programming geared towards a variety of individual abilities and interests. This position also includes supervising other members of the activity staff. We are looking for someone who is creative and strategic when it comes to developing and implementing goals, able to quickly adapt when faced with change, energetic and able to positively influence others in a supportive manner, and customer service oriented with great written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational, computer and time management skills a must as well as a teamwork attitude.

• Current Activities Director Certification, preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, preferred or willing to go thru certification class after hire
• Prior experience a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
• Desire to work with the elderly
• Experience developing and implementing Activities Program in a Skilled Nursing Facility

This full-time position works 8-hour shifts. May require some weekend or after hours activities.
