SummaryThe Dietary Services Aide assists with food preparation, meal service, and kitchen sanitation while following dietary guidelines, health regulations, and Americare’s standards of care. This role supports resident satisfaction and safety through teamwork, attention to detail, and a service-focused mindset.

What You’ll Do- Assist with food preparation for residents, visitors, and staff, including special events and activities
- Attend and serve food during in-service or staff meetings as requested
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining sanitary conditions
- Set and clear tables before and after meals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control practices
- Adhere to Americare’s Mission, Vision, Hometown Hospitality, and F.A.M.I.L.Y. values
- Support the dietary team with additional duties as assigned
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers
- Ability to follow supervisor instructions safely and efficiently
- Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and professionalism
- Adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable state and federal regulations
- Stand, sit, walk, and change positions frequently
- Lift or carry up to 25 lbs.; push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Reach, balance, kneel, stoop, and bend as needed
