** This is not a remote position.

Compiles information and records to prepare purchase orders for delivery of materials. Verifies parts and specifications of purchase requests. Checks to make sure whether it is on contract. Creates purchase orders and sends a copy to supplier. Compiles records of items purchased or transferred between departments, prices, deliveries, and inventories. Computes total cost of items purchased. Confers with suppliers concerning late deliveries and shortages.

Orders supplies when requested by departments. Builds totes for surgery department. Fill requisitions and deliver to the departments when needed. Help check in freight when needed.

High school diploma or its equivalent. Good customer relation skills and attention to detail are extremely important. Successful candidate must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts. Must have the ability to work independently and at a moderately fast pace. Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos and able to respond to same. Basic computer skills are needed to perform job satisfactorily.
