Kanza Cooperative Association is hiring a Feed Mill Intern for a paid, full-time summer internship in Pratt, Kansas. This role gives students hands-on experience in feed production, mill operations, customer service, safety, and cooperative business practices while building practical skills for a career in agriculture.

Assist with daily feed mill operations, production, and customer service.

Support feed mill staff with mixing, packaging, loading, unloading, and product handling.

Help handle feed, grain, ingredients, and related products in a safe and efficient manner.

Learn basic inventory practices, equipment procedures, and feed mill safety expectations.

Participate in training, professional development, and hands-on learning opportunities.

Work with experienced feed mill professionals to gain practical agricultural industry experience.

Currently pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Feed Science, Ag Business, or a related field.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Ability to work in a feed mill environment with dust, noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.

Previous agricultural, feed mill, farm, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Paid, full-time summer internship experience.

Hands-on exposure to feed mill, customer service, and cooperative operations.
