USA Government Jobs - 6700 SW Topeka Boulevard - Responsibilities:
Perform inspections, functional checks, and preventive maintenance on assigned aircraft to include pre-inspection, daily inspection, pre- and post-flight inspections.;
Conduct hydraulic, electrical, transmission, and power systems checks; troubleshoot and perform unscheduled maintenance.;
Repair and test aircraft systems, assemblies, and surfaces using test equipment and measuring tools.;
Prepare for readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization, and Operations Other Than War activities.;
Coordinate with other mechanics and supervise/assist lower-graded personnel as needed (WG-10 level).
