Position Summary
Airbus is looking for an Aircraft Ground Test Inspector (Contract) to join our Manufacturing team located in Mobile, Alabama. The role involves performing ground tests on avionics and electrical systems, ensuring quality and safety throughout the production line.

Responsibilities- Prepare aircraft and workstation surroundings for ground tests on various avionics and electrical systems in a safe environment.
- Perform function tests on all systems (flight controls, navigation, passenger entertainment, etc.) in parallel with assembly.
- Organize documentation of any non‑conformity in the SAP NC system and initiate associated retests after rework.
- Conduct troubleshooting on test systems and aircraft systems, coordinate troubleshooting activities and distinguish error types.
- Clarify problems with the engineering department and support improvement measures.
- Identify internal issues to continuously improve the "On Time On Quality" production process.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5+ years experience as an Aircraft Avionics Technician with a focus on aircraft systems (electrical preferred) or 3+ years as a Quality Inspector in avionics systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting on aircraft systems.
- Experience with A320/A220 family type rating is beneficial.
- Knowledge of drawing systems, quality management systems, and IT systems.
- Knowledge of production line principles, industry safety practices, and industrial technical processes.
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English.
- Computer skills and working experience with MS Office products.
