Senior Compliance Engineer – Safety, Ground Operations

• Support development and operations of New Glenn, a reusable heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle
• Support regulatory compliance efforts with the US Space Force Space Launch Deltas 45 and 30
• Maintain critical ground safety compliance products for the New Glenn launch vehicle program
• Develop and maintain relationships across the New Glenn program and with US Space Force government partners
• Plan sophisticated products across multiple technical subject areas
• Develop, deliver, and communicate results supporting Range Safety Compliance
• Work on launch vehicles, space vehicles, and launch facility systems
• Provide leadership for Range Safety Compliance activities

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or an equivalent technical management field
• Meaningful and demonstrable experience with Range Safety requirements, such as SSCMAN 91-710
• Proven experience with a large-scale development aerospace program
• Solid understanding of project management and resource planning practices
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Excellent judgment and comfort making high-quality, high-velocity decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong track record of product ownership
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
• Required to complete Blue’s Standard Background Check
• DBIDS background check may be required if the role requires work on a military installation

Demonstrates expertise in Range Safety Compliance and project management within aerospace programs, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and collaboration with government partners. Proven ability to lead safety compliance activities and make high-quality decisions in a team environment.
