JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting in keeping scores in various sports and helping with the operation and maintenance of the concession stand. Successful performance in this position contributes to an efficient and safe environment for the public. FLSA status is Non-Exempt.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this classification. The omission of specific duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related or logical assignments for this classification. Specific duties listed may not be required for all positions in this classification, but are determined by the normal requirements for the particular position.

SCOREBOARD DUTIES (45%)
Operate electronic score system.
Keeps score books for each game.

CONCESSIONS DUTIES (45%)
Sells concessions including soft drinks and food items to spectators at various events.
Receives money and makes correct change for customers.
Monitors money in the cash drawer to ensure adequate change is available.

OTHER RELATED DUTIES (10%)
Cleans concession stand area.
Counts revenues as assigned by supervisor.
Checking facilities and restrooms for cleanliness; restocking supplies as needed.
Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least fifteen (15) years of age.
Basic knowledge and understanding of scoring used in sports preferred.
Must have a valid drivers' license and/or dependable transportation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Job duties are typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching or stooping. Employees occasionally lift light and heavy objects, climbs ladders, uses equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity, distinguishes between shades of color, and utilizes the sense of smell
Job duties are typically outdoors, occasionally in extreme or inclement weather. Employees are exposed to noise, dust, dirt, and irritating chemicals.
Job duties may require the use of protective devices such as masks, goggles, gloves, etc.
Job duties require the ability to deal with and relate to people beyond giving and receiving instructions.
Job duties require the ability to talk, express, or exchange ideas by means of spoken words and/or hear and perceive the nature of sounds by ear.
Job candidates must be able to adapt to and perform under moderate stress.
Job duties require regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
