Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage HR processes including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, payroll coordination, and benefits administration in accordance with documented procedures and legal standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR-related policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and site‑specific goals that align with the company’s quality management system.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records (paper and electronic) for traceability, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between HR and employees, facilitating communications on policies, benefits, development programs, and conflict resolution.
  • Monitor and ensure consistent application of HR policies and support root‑cause analysis and corrective action in employee relations.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead employee engagement events including holiday celebrations, business milestones, and appreciation events.
  • Support leadership in workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning processes.
  • Identify, plan, and coordinate internal and external training.
  • Attend shift meetings and conduct regular floor walks to maintain HR visibility and ensure workplace communication and safety.
  • Provide input on cross‑functional HR initiatives and represent HR on project teams focused on systems improvement and standardization.
  • Maintain KPIs and HR metrics (e.g., turnover and absenteeism) to support data‑driven decisions and continual improvement initiatives.
  • Interpret and enforce HR policies, SOPs, and employment regulations.
  • Lead investigations and recommend corrective actions in alignment with documented HR procedures.
  • Coordinate hiring decisions and manage recruitment activities.
  • Develop and recommend procedural changes to improve HR performance.
Authorities
  • Escalate and advise on compliance or disciplinary matters to senior HR leadership or legal counsel.
  • Authorized to access, update, and maintain confidential employee records.
  • Authorized to manage timekeeping data and initiate related corrective actions.
  • Authorized to communicate official company policies, procedures, and benefits to employees.
  • Authorized to coordinate and present HR training and orientation activities.
  • Authorized to distribute uniforms, badges, and equipment essential to employee readiness and security.
Minimum Qualification / Education Requirements
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree required, degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent education/experience combination may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR) preferred.
Minimum Skills Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual collaboration platform Teams.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS system. (UKG preferred)
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Understanding of labor law and employment practices in the U.S.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
Minimum Experience Requirements
  • 5+ years of administrative, office, or HR generalist experience.
  • 2+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience.
  • Prior experience supporting a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Direct experience managing HR programs, employee relations, and performance management required.
