Responsibilities
- Develop and refine the global sourcing strategy.
- Select suppliers that meet cost, quality, and service objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions that minimize risk.
- Serve as the procurement representative for new product development and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Develop suppliers to consistently meet performance objectives.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to reduce the impact of potential disruptions.
- Analyze pricing and market trends to anticipate shifts in buyer‑supplier dynamics.
- Maintain accurate cost data to support reliable margin management.
- Develop and refine global logistics strategies to ensure competitive costs and trade compliance.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Administer and reconcile monthly P‑card expenses and submit them for payment.
- Establish new purchased parts in the ERP system.
- Plan and schedule the delivery of assigned purchased items.
- Select, onboard, and develop suppliers.
- Establish replenishment quantities.
- Establish minimum stocking quantities.
- Provide landed cost estimates for sales inquiries.
- Recommend process improvements.
- Perform document audits to ensure ISO compliance.
- Lead cost‑savings projects.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies to ensure timely payment processing.
- Act on purchase item replenishment messages.
- Develop and implement process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
- High ethical standards and sound professional judgment.
- Ability to travel up to 30% for business needs (both domestic and international travel possibilities).
- Working knowledge of purchasing law and procurement compliance requirements.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Excel and Power BI.
- Experience with ERP procurement modules and related business systems; preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Previous experience leading a team is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of experience, advanced education, and industry‑specific training may be considered in lieu of the stated minimum requirements.
