Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of API infrastructure and backend services that power our platform ecosystem
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Java, Python, Go, and C++
- Build backend systems and microservices under guidance from senior engineers
- Implement API design patterns, versioning strategies, and documentation to support platform usability
- Participate in monitoring and observability practices to maintain system reliability
- Assist with technical design reviews and learn standards for backend systems
- Support continuous improvement of platform infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges and improve code quality
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience developing software systems in production environments
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Python, or Go
- Familiarity with database design and data persistence patterns
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Understanding of API design and RESTful service principles
- Experience building or working with microservices and backend systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker (preferred)
Experience with API development and integration (preferred) - Knowledge of caching strategies and performance optimization (preferred)
- Experience working in Agile development environments (preferred)
- Contributions to open-source projects related to backend or API development (preferred)
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and exposure to AI/ML frameworks (preferred)
- Experience using generative AI tools to enhance productivity and code quality (preferred)
- Familiarity with LLMs and how they can be integrated into backend systems (preferred)
