Associate Software Engineer – Test

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for web-based applications
• Build and enhance UI test automation frameworks using Playwright
• Utilize Jira Xray for test management, defect tracking, and reporting
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to validate business and technical requirements
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Support regression, integration, and functional testing efforts
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation coverage
• Ensure alignment with PNC’s SDLC and quality engineering standards

• Experience working with Jira Xray for test management
• Familiarity with working in an Agile development environment
• Knowledge and/or hands‑on experience with automated testing tools
• Experience building or executing UI tests using Playwright
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle concepts
• Exposure to or experience working with Salesforce platforms
• Experience writing, executing, and documenting test cases
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
