Job Summary
Medline Industries, LP is a leading nationwide supplier of medical, surgical and pharmaceutical products. Due to continued growth, we need a Warehouse Operator to help move materials around the facility for shipping, processing and receiving. The Warehouse Operator will operate machinery to unload, scan, move, stage, load, locate, pick, relocate and stack product.
Responsibilities- Catalogue, record, and organize materials received at the warehouse; arrange materials for order assembly.
- Fulfill worksheets or tickets for customers by reading production schedules, order forms and requisitions.
- Locate and gather products to move and distribute to production workers, assembly line, or shipping areas.
- Assemble, build, wrap, sort and transport customer orders.
- Operate hand truck, cart, forklift, order-picker and walkie to transport items.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Ability to speak, read and write English with proficiency; read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; basic keypunch skills.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push and lift for extended periods daily.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.
- Must have a high sense of urgency.
- Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
$16.50 - $24.00 hourly. Actual salary may vary based on location, education, experience, skills and abilities. Medline will not pay less than applicable minimum wage or salary thresholds.
