Overview

Registered Nurse - Per Diem

At Mountain Valley Regional Rehabilitation Hospital
, our hospital has been ranked in the Top 10% nationally for rehabilitative care for 15 years and has earned The Joint Commission’s Stroke Certification and Brain Injury Certification. At our 44-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services, as well as Home Health services to our patients, serving the communities of Northern Arizona. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

We have a great opportunity for our Home Health Division for PRN Registered Nurse!!!

  • Weekday and Weekend Hours
Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (Bachelor degree or higher preferred) with ability to apply and maintain RN license in state of Arizona.
  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed in the state of Arizona.
  • Current CPR certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
  • Fingerprint certification through state of Arizona required.
  • Three (3) years working experience; two (2) year Home Health experience strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
  • Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
  • Ability to work on-call and off hours as assigned.
Responsibilities

In accordance with physician orders and plan of care, administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
