Join Our Growing Pain Management Team in Northern Arizona
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our established and growing Pain Management practice serving patients across Northern Arizona clinics. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who is passionate about improving quality of life for patients living with acute and chronic pain and who values working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary care model.
Our organization provides comprehensive outpatient care with a focus on Pain Management, while also working closely with Behavioral Health and Physical Therapy services to support whole-patient treatment plans. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is confident, compassionate, efficient, and committed to delivering high‑quality patient care.
Position SummaryThe Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions in an outpatient setting. The provider will work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and ancillary services to develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and promote safe, evidence‑based care.
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical examination, and assessment of pain‑related conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic pain
- Manage follow‑up care, monitor treatment response, and adjust plans as clinically appropriate
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing, imaging, and other clinical data
- Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and practice protocols
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medication use, and expectations of care
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff regarding treatment planning, procedures, and continuity of care
- Coordinate care with other disciplines, including Behavioral Health and Physical Therapy, when appropriate
- Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record
- Maintain adherence to practice policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Travel and work out of clinics in Prescott Valley and Cottonwood, Arizona
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or other applicable certification)
- Current DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
- Minimum 1–2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
- Pain management, orthopedics, PM&R, family medicine, urgent care, internal medicine, or related outpatient experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Comfortable managing a high‑volume outpatient schedule while maintaining excellent patient care and professionalism
- Experience in pain management or interventional pain
- Experience treating patients with chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, neuropathic pain, or spine‑related disorders
- Familiarity with medication management, treatment planning, and coordination of multidisciplinary care
- Experience with EMR documentation and outpatient workflow management
