Vascular Access Nurse job at Dignity Health. Prescott Valley, AZ.
As our Vascular Access Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective vascular access care to patients.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and determine appropriate vascular access devices
- Be responsible for the insertion of PICC (peripherally inserted central catheters) and midlines
- Coordinate services related to PICC lines and all CVAD (Central Venous Access Devices)
- Educate patients and families on vascular access care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
This opportunity can be combined with a full-time role within this unit.
Qualifications- Minimum five (5) years of experience as an acute care RN
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) Certification
- ACLS Certification
