Job Description:

Join a busy emergency department in Prescott Valley, AZ, for a 13-week travel assignment as an Emergency Department nurse. You’ll be working 8-hour days in a setting where quick thinking and critical skills are essential. This role offers exposure to a Level 4 trauma center with 24 beds, including critical and trauma bays, and a fast-track intake model for lower acuity patients.

You will manage a diverse range of cases—from CP and abdominal pain to minor trauma and respiratory distress—while collaborating with a team of seasoned physicians, mid-level providers, ER techs, and RTs. The ER handles approximately 80-110 patients daily, with nurse-to-patient ratios typically of 1:4, and critical patients requiring 1:1 care. Flexibility and the ability to triage patients confidently are highly valued in this environment.
