A Little About Our Program… Sequel Care of Arizona provides office and community-based therapeutic services for adults and adolescents, located all around the state of Arizona. We have therapeutic foster care homes and adolescent/adult group homes, providing a continuum of care as needed. At Sequel Care of Arizona, our goal is that every client and family we serve achieves their optimal potential.

We are committed to providing high-quality psychiatric/therapeutic office and residential-based treatment with support services in a safe environment to assist our clients in addressing, managing and overcoming serious emotional, psychological and behavioral problems.

What is it like to work at a Sequel program! The Job We are seeking talented individual to help drive the success of youth in our learning academy. As a Special Education Teacher you will provide direct supervision to adolescents ages 12
-18. You will serve as a role model and provide support & structure to the residents in our care.

Snapshot of Daily Duties
· Supervise youth in order to observe or effect changes in their social behavior, and to maintain security for community protection.
· Stimulate interest and cooperation in individual and group classes and activities and observe youth behavior in response to treatment efforts.
· Prepare periodic and special evaluations through the Individual Service Plan (ISP) and IEP on the assigned youth, report significant changes in educational and social behavior and make recommendations for plan changes.
· Prepare individualized learning plans and instruct group's youth, providing in depth attention to students as necessary.
· Maintain proper norms and security of youth and provide crisis intervention as necessary.

The Must Haves Evidence of teaching degree
* and Arizona State Certification in area subjects.
