Accountant – Support Center, Prescott, AZ
Pro Force Law Enforcement is an innovative leader in law enforcement equipment and firearms, recognized for excellence in creative marketing, technology, and customer service. We are seeking an Accountant to join the Administration team at our Support Center.
Responsibilities- Assist in monthly and fiscal year-end processes including work papers, reconciliations, and account analysis.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger for various transactions (cash receipts, disbursements, receivables, payables, fixed assets, etc.).
- Reconcile functional areas such as fixed assets, bank accounts, account receivables.
- Perform complex account and bank reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution.
- Perform other accounting, budget, payroll, or clerical duties as assigned.
Business‑casual environment with a starting pay between $20–$25 per hour, commensurate with experience. Qualifications- Associate’s degree in accounting (bachelor’s a plus).
- 3+ years of general accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles.
- Ability to plan, organize, and handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional and articulate communication skills at all levels.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills including VLOOKUP, functions, and pivot tables preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with double‑checking and follow‑through as standard.
- Availability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays at month‑end.
