Volunteer Campground Host - Free Campsite & Utilities

Recreation Site Host (Volunteer) – 1 opening

This is a volunteer position.

• Work a schedule and duties provided by the Recreation Services Department Maintenance Supervisor or designee
• Assist campers with camping registrations and payments
• Keep track of occupied and reserved sites; direct campers to vacant sites
• Work cooperatively with Department maintenance staff and volunteers
• Wear any uniform items provided by the Department
• Comply with all park rules and regulations
• Work closely with law enforcement personnel as needed
• Keep their campsite in a presentable condition
• Open and close entrance gates as requested
• Keep pets under control at all times
• Manage site when reserved for a large-scale event
• Other duties as assigned

• Water hook‑ups
• Electric hook‑ups at no cost
• All supplies and information needed to perform the volunteer duties

Interested parties should submit a resume, including any relevant experience hosting, previous employment, and professional references. Size of RV or 5th wheel is required.
