Starting Point Vineyard Church’s goal is to provide a warm, welcoming, come-as-you-are environment where people from all walks of life can become fully devoted followers of Jesus. We love to worship God, and value the presence of the Holy Spirit. Our congregation is around 300 people . . . and growing! We are located in beautiful Prescott, Arizona.

Description:

As a Student Pastor (grades 6-12), the ideal candidate will find joy in loving, teaching, and supporting students while developing strong relationships with parents. The position involves leading a team of volunteers, while organizing events including Sunday and mid-week youth services. The ideal candidate will have the ability to gather and recruit, build relationships, cast vision, and communicate clearly. This will be a fun position for someone who is energetic, has a strong heart for God, and enjoys a high-energy, Spirit-led environment.

We also believe that developing a lifestyle that allows for relational discipleship to happen is key to effective ministry. Starting Point church believes in a servant-leadership model . . . just like Jesus taught.

The Student Pastor role is part-time to begin, but could become full-time as the church and student ministry grow. Experience and formal education are preferred, but not required. JT, the lead pastor at Starting Point, was a youth pastor for over 30 years and would be excited to mentor and develop a less experienced candidate. Salary is based on experience.
