- One (1) - 19 hour per week position. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
- Provides professional front-line library public service work using all types of communication resources, including print, non-print (DVDs, audio books), Internet and electronic resources
- Delivers one-to-one technology instruction and small group technology instruction including supporting patrons in using mobile devices and public computers.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co-workers and library customers
- Provides reader's advisory assistance
- Uses authoritative resources to answer questions and make referrals
- Assists full-time Librarians with collection maintenance and programming support.
- Provides exceptional customer service in person, on phone and by email
- Interpreting, explaining and upholding library policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree required. or Master of Library Science degree from an ALA accredited library school preferred. At least one year of experience in a library or related setting providing customer service to adults; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.

Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a library environment.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and/or push materials including full book carts, book bins, and lifting tubs weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Operate a variety of standard office equipment including a computer, tablet, telephone, and e-reader
