The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands. The employee may be required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee may be required to use district‑approved physical restraint techniques when student restraint is required.
Ten month position – 6.5 hours/day
$16.55 - $17.43/hour + benefits
$2,000 stipend for specialized learning program
$500 hiring bonus paid after working 3 months.
All P.U.S.D. employees must have an IVP fingerprint card.
Para Pro Eligibility Requirements- High School diploma or GED and an Associate's degree or higher or
- Completed two years of study (equaling 60 or more credit hours) from an accredited institution of higher education or
- Obtained a passing score on one of the Arizona Department of Education approved Para Pro assessments

- Medical insurance paid by P.U.S.D. (with option to purchase for family members): five plans to choose from, four paid fully by P.U.S.D., valued at $11,196 per year. The fifth is a buy‑up medical insurance plan.
