Para Pro II;
Steps K-8 program (moderate to severe disabilities)
- The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands. The employee may be required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee may be required to use the District approved physical restraint techniques when student restraint is required.
10 month position - 7 hours/day
$/hour + benefits
Includes $500.00 hiring bonus paid after working 3 months.
All P.U.S.D. employees must have an IVP fingerprint card. Please use the electronic option to expedite the process and save money.
Para Pro requirements- High School diploma or GED AND an Associate's degree or higher OR
- Completed two years of study (equaling 60 or more credit hours) from an accredited institution of higher education OR
- Obtained a passing score on one of the Arizona Department of Education approved Para Pro assessments.

All full time (6 or more hours per day) PUSD employees receive the following benefits in addition to their salary or hourly pay.
