Job Summary And Responsibilities
Performs CT scanning, recommends performance improvement activities, and assists in equipment and procedure evaluations in the mobile stroke setting.
- Performs CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations. CT scans include but are not limited to:
Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro, Cardiac and Interventional Procedures. Uses ALARA on every exam when selecting parameters for exam based on patient age and habitus. - Displays competency performing procedures; follows National Patient Safety Goals for two patient identifiers, hand hygiene and universal precautions. Produces high quality diagnostic exams. Accurately enters, selects and/or merges the correct patient identification information on the scanner and in the PACS system.
- Accurately and proficiently performs work-ups, such as perfusions and reconstructions, on the 3-D workstation. Completes hospital/department specific forms per protocol and completes exams in Rad Net.
- Completes incident reports/extravasations forms. Completes patient contrast information forms. Scans in documentation as required into PACS.

AZ) - Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) or Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT)
- Three years of CT experience

Pay Range
$37.40 - $55.63 /hour
